In celebration of the new Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media (YCAM), Wood
Street Galleries is hosting an access pod from which users can send short
text messages over the internet. The signals will be encoded as unique
sequences of flashes with 20 robotically-controlled searchlights, turning
the city of Yamaguchi into a giant communication switchboard.
